33rd Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine & Food Festival
Celebrate the tastes and flavors that make the state, and the region, unique. Enjoy a selection of wines and culinary creations, plus live music on two stages, crafts, and plenty of fun. The festival takes place at Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony June 22-23, 2024. Event hours are 12-5 p.m. Tickets are available on the resort website, including discounted tickets for the designated driver(s) of the group.
Mahoning Valley Speedway Weekly Racing
It’s a bit of a drive, but racing fans won’t mind. The speedway in Lehighton hosts weekly races on Saturdays during the summer. Races take place at 6 p.m., and the first race is June 1, 2024.
Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark Fireworks
Celebrate American independence with a 4th of July celebration to remember. After a day of fun at the water park, turn your eyes skyward to be entertained. There will be other fun and excitement leading up to the main event. Visit the park 6-10 p.m. on July 4th to take part in the fun.
Penn’s Peak
The concert hall hosts a variety of local and national musical acts, as well as events throughout the year. This summer the venue will host acts like Travis Tritt, the Little River Band, and a variety of “tribute” bands providing homages to greats like Johnny Folsom and John Denver.
Mauch Chunk Opera House
The venue that has been entertaining guests since 1881 needs to be on your list of activities this summer. Not only do they host musical acts like a Smiths tribute band, but they also offer comedy events and more. You can see acts like Tom Green, Mike E. Winfield, and many others.
