First up, experience a 2 mile holiday light show like no other, Joy Through the Grove (November 24- December 31, 2023).  You’ll see  endless lights and displays, and savor some tasty holiday treats like caramel corn, fudge, cotton candy and more. And don’t forget to stop by the  Christmas Village (November 24- December 23, 2023)! The kids can take pictures with Santa and Kozmo Klaus, visit the Gift Shop, enjoy s’mores around the fire pit and more!  Lastly, call to make your reservation for the Weekend Character Breakfast !  It’s an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with Santa & the Knoebels Characters, plus a complimentary photo print is included with your group’s breakfast buffet purchase.  There are 3 available seating times on Saturday and Sunday:  9:00am, 10:15am & 11:30am.

Yenser’s Tree Farm is a great place to get in the holiday cheer.  They’re open November 18-19, 2023, then Open Daily beginning November 24, 2023- December 17, 2023.  Choose and cut your own tree, shop their wreaths and greenery, and on the weekends, enjoy some complimentary cookies and cocoa!

The Lehigh Valley Zoo’s Winter Light Spectacular  returns for its 10th consecutive year beginning Friday, November 10, 2023 on weekends and other select dates in November and December. Featuring over 1.2 million twinkling lights, magnificent holiday displays, Live performances every night by Anna, Elsa, Belle and Cinderella.  Visit Santa and grab a treat to enjoy around the many fire pits. Children and adults will cherish this holiday tradition.

Looking for a one-of-a-kind Holiday experience?  Take a trip on the rails!  The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway offers Santa Claus Special Trains and Winter Character trains. There is an ADA certified lift for trains running out of Jim Thorpe station. Well behaved dogs are welcome to ride the train free of charge. All trains have heated cars and restrooms on board. The Stourbridge Line also offers two Santa Christmas Tree Express routes,as well as a Pocono Winter Wonderland Express.  All trains have heated cars and restrooms on board.  

Christkindlmarkt, is a unique family-friendly event that celebrates the spirit of the season in Bethlehem, Pa. Twice recognized as one of the best holiday markets in the U.S. by Travel & Leisure, this heart-warming holiday event features collectibles and ornaments from Germany, tons of shopping from local artisans and merchants, delightful food and drinks, and more!  Opening November 17- 29, 2023 Friday through Sunday, then starting November 30, 2023- December 17, 2023 they will be open Thursday- Sunday.

A fun outdoor activity to plan this Holiday Season is ice skating. The Ice Rink at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA is open daily beginning November 21, 2023 to January 15, 2024!  Skating sessions are 75 minutes long. Skate rentals are available in sizes Toddler 9 to Adult 13 or you can bring your own.  So remember your scarf and mittens and have a fantastic time!
