Jim Thorpe River Adventures is another great local outfitter.  Their tours feature the rushing currents and towering cliffs of the Lehigh River, home to some of the best whitewater rafting in the region. With your guide, you’ll navigate through thrilling rapids, hearts pounding with excitement as you conquer each with skill and teamwork. Along the way, soak in the stunning natural beauty of the river gorge, catching glimpses of wildlife and cascading waterfalls that dot the landscape.  They offer floats for any skill level, from EasyWater Rafting to their BigTime Whitewater, where you’ll experience over 20 named rapids during the 5 hour float.  

Whitewater Rafting Adventures is another outfit near Jim Thorpe that has offered guided rafting excursions to Pocono visitors for over 40 years.  They, too, offer multiple levels of rafting experience and even have some great specials for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Special Hint:  they also offer a ton of other great activities such as biking, paintball, ziplining, kayaking, and more!

Adventure Sports also offers river adventures on the Delaware River, in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.  They feature 1-day, 2-day, and even 3-day River Adventures!
