Why We Love It
Rainier Home | Spacious Mountain Living w/ Hot Tub
The Rainier Home is quintessential mountain living with ample square footage for the entire crew! Set among the trees in a prime location between Lake Harmony and Big Boulder Lake, this 8-bedroom, newly built home is wheelchair-friendly, spacious and immediately feels like home.
Description
Step onto the two-level deck at Rainier and the woods surround you on all sides, with Lake Harmony and Big Boulder Lake both within a few minutes of the door. The deck is built for a crowd: four oversized picnic tables spread across the upper and lower levels, an outdoor gas fireplace on the upper level, a hot tub tucked underneath below. It sets the tone for how the whole house works. Rainier sleeps 26 across eight bedrooms in a newly built home in Lake Harmony Estates, purpose-built for large groups. The main level brings together a kitchen, dining, and living space around a stone fireplace. A game room with a bar, pool table, and multicade sits one level below.
The Heart of the Home
The main level stays open so whoever is cooking stays in the conversation. The chef's kitchen handles the volume: two ovens, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, and a beverage fridge. The dining table seats 10 to 12; the breakfast bar behind it handles seven more. The living area is anchored by the stone fireplace with the TV mounted above it. The whole-house sound system carries from kitchen to deck.
Downstairs, the game room earns its space: a professional pool table, a multicade arcade, a game room bar, and a large Smart TV with its own seating area. Two different groups can occupy the house at the same time and neither has to compromise.
Outdoor Living
The outdoor gas fireplace on the upper deck pulls people together after dark; the Weber handles dinners from the same level. One floor down, the covered patio adds a shaded afternoon option and a second gathering zone when the group splits. The hot tub sits tucked beneath the upper deck for privacy. The fire pit anchors the yard for late-night. In winter, Big Boulder Ski Resort is a 7-minute drive and the lit slopes are visible after dark from the deck.

A Perfect Day Around Lake Harmony
From Rainier, much of what makes the trip worth taking is within a few minutes of the door. Here is how your local hosts would spend the day:
- Get on the water: Lake Harmony Watersports is a 3-minute drive (0.8 miles); kayaks, paddleboards, and jet skis by the hour for the full group.
- Ski or snowboard: Big Boulder Ski Resort is a 7-minute drive (2.4 miles); close enough for a morning-only ski day that still leaves the afternoon for the hot tub and fire pit.
- Indoor backup plan: H2OOooh! Indoor Waterpark is a 5-minute drive (1.6 miles); year-round and the right call when the weather turns.
- Easy nature for all ages: Thomas Darling Preserve is a 15-minute drive (about 9 miles); flat accessible trails that work for grandparents and toddlers in the same group.
- Boulder Field: Hickory Run State Park is a 25-minute drive (about 10 miles); a sea of glacial boulders that earns its reputation as a full-day trip.
- Track day: Pocono Raceway is a 15-minute drive (about 6 miles); stock car ride-alongs and driving experiences for the group that wants something to talk about on the way home.
- Whitewater: Pocono Whitewater Adventures is a 20-minute drive (about 10 miles); guided rafting and kayaking trips that run spring through fall.
For dining out, three close picks for groups: Austin T's at Lake Harmony Village is about 10 minutes away (4.5 miles) for on-lake dining and a full bar; Legends Bar and Grill at Split Rock is about 15 minutes for a casual group dinner; the dining options at H2OOooh! work for a quick family lunch mid-day.
