Inside Our Summer Escapes

Go ahead and open the windows to let the outside in! With temperatures rarely reaching above the mid-70s, the fresh air will feel wonderful, especially after all the hours of traveling it took to get here! And as you explore the rooms that will be your home for the next however long, you’ll start to realize how right you were to choose this place and this time for your unforgettable Pennsylvania getaway!

Our Poconos summer rentals are designed to fit travelers needs, offering spacious kitchens with up to date appliances, grand living areas filled with comfortable spots to laze about, and in many of our homes, fireplaces that add to the romance of a rainy day! The bedrooms are serene retreats, perfect for sleeping late and simply shutting out the rest of the world after a long day of vacation activities. High end materials and luxury amenities are meant to spoil; access to pools, hot tubs on the patios, and game rooms or theater rooms are just a few of the extras that can be found in many of our Poconos summer rentals.

Summer Fun in the Poconos

Days that stretch out forever offer plenty of opportunities for adventures both large and small and the Poconos in the Summer is the perfect place to find your next thrill! Explore the wilder side of life with a visit to the Lehigh Valley Zoo, take a trip back in time with a visit to the America on Wheels Museum in Allentown, or enjoy the simpler pleasures of the Carbon County Fair. Summers were meant for Ferris wheels and cotton candy, and the fair is our favorite place to find both!

Hiking through the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is a popular summer choice. Wide dirt trails follow along the creek that runs through it, tall trees keep the air shaded and cooler, and cute wooden bridges along the way offer picturesque places to take a family Christmas card photo or even an engagement photo for all your friends to ooh and ah over. Don’t be surprised when they are more fascinated with the background landscape than the size of your diamond though; our vistas are pretty incredible!

Mountain Laurel Riding Stables at 81 Tree Tops Drive in White Haven offers trail rides and wagon rides for riders of all skill levels, allowing guests to enjoy the peace of a Pennsylvania day in the forest as well as the gentle beauty of the steeds carrying them around. Prices range from $10 for wagon rides to $67 for private trail rides lasting between 35 to 45 minutes, making this activity one that fits into vacation budgets of all sizes!

Hungry Yet?

All the outdoor fun you are having is sure to work up some pretty strong appetites and we’ve got more than a couple of places that are worth trying out during your stay in the Poconos in the Summer.

Robert Christian’s Restaurant at 710 PA-940 in Pocono Lake offers all-American food served in a cozy cabin that blends beautifully into the wooded background. Order an extra-large prime rib with all the fixings, a rack of ribs, or a thick and juicy burger so large you may need to cut it in half to be able to hold it to eat!

Jubilee Restaurant at 2067 PA-940 in Pocono Pines offers family style meals in a cozy atmosphere and on certain nights, live entertainment. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every dish on the menu tastes better than the last. Chimichurri steak and eggs in the morning, the super burger platter for lunch, and peach bourbon pork chops in the evening are some of the best ways to ensure you never forget a single moment of your visit to Jubilee! Feel free to explore all the menu items as you enjoy ice-cold craft beers you’re going to wish were served in your own hometown! If you’re visiting on a Thursday or Sunday night, their wing specials are delicious and reasonably priced, while Tuesday night guests will enjoy the freshest steamed clams, also priced extremely reasonably! There’s a taste for every diner at Jubilee Restaurant.
