Searching for a unique Father’s Day gift? The Pocono Mountains can offer plenty of fun activities for Dad to enjoy. Here are five of our favorite adventures.

Pocono Whitewater’s BIG DAY OUT is happening on Father’s Day weekend and selected dates through October.  Does Dad enjoy biking, hiking, and rafting? Then this multisport adventure is for him. First, Dad will select his Trek bike and begin his day with a peaceful 23-mile bike ride between the foot walls of the Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail.  After enjoying his box lunch provided and resting near the Lehigh River, Dad will commence on a scenic hike to a breath-taking overlook of the Lehigh River. Finally, Dad can cool down while navigating the whitewater rapids of the Lehigh River. But that is not all. Dad will receive a delicious meal at the Pocono Whitewater Adventure Center after he returns from his action-packed day. He will receive a drink on them and there is a bonfire to sit around and share his experience.

Does Dad have a need for speed? Then a Stock Car Racing Experience is the ticket.  When his training courses are complete, Dad will suit up, be strapped into a 600-horsepower NASCAR-style race car and discover the thrill of his life on the Pocono Raceway’s famous 2.5-mile track.  Whether Dad chooses to Ride or Drive, he will never forget the exhilarating experience you gave him.

Is it Tee Time yet? Jack Frost National and Split Rock Golf Club are close to Lake Harmony and can provide Dad with the perfect golfing experience. Jack Frost National spans over two hundred acres and offers spectacular views and terrain. There are wide fairways and no blind spots. Split Rock Golf Club offers 27 holes of traditional golf and 18 holes of Footgolf, which is very popular in Europe and South America.  After a round of golf, take Dad to dinner at Louie’s Prime Steakhouse – Reservations are required, Nick’s Lake House, Shenanigans, Boulder View Tavern or Thirsty Moose Tavern.  Let Dad brag about that Hole-in-One.

If your Pop is an avid angler, then a Poconos fishing trip is necessary. Lake Harmony, Mauch Chunk Lake Park, Hickory Run State Park and Beltzville State Park are some fabulous spots Dad can kick back, relax and cast his reel.  Need bait and supplies? Check out Boulder Bait & Tackle, Pocono Bait ShopThe Evening Hatch Fly Shop or Pocono Fly Fishing.

Barley Creek Brewing Company in Tannersville will be celebrating SummerFest XV111 on Father’s Day Weekend at the Pint Size Park. There will be live music, food, craft drinks and fun and games for the entire family.
