Accommodations
We offer some of the nicest lakeview homes in the area. We have large vacation rentals that can sleep your whole group. Our homes also have plenty of space for entertaining including, full-sized kitchens, large living rooms with fireplaces, and outdoor patios with seating. You and your friends can enjoy a drink on the patio while you look out over the lake. Some of our rentals also have hot tubs and access to a pool.
Spend a Day at the Lake
The main attraction of Lake Harmony is, of course, the lake. This lake is privately owned, but if you are staying in a Pocono getaway rental of ours, you will have access to the lake and beach. There are several spots around the lake with beaches and designated swimming areas. If you are looking for some fun on the beach, stop by The Sand Bar. This lakeside bar has cold drinks, food, and a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.
Go Horseback Riding
If the weather isn’t nice enough to lay out by the lake, then you and your girlfriends can go horseback riding. Daisy Field Farm is a family-owned horse farm near White Haven in the Poconos Mountains. They offer private horseback rides and trail rides. All visitors must call ahead of time and you can set up a picnic, tour of the farm, and horseback riding for your whole group.
Bond at Brunch
Piggy’s is one of the best spots for brunch in Lake Harmony for you to visit when you are staying in your Pocono getaway rental. They use farm fresh eggs, and artisan meats to create delicious and fresh breakfasts. They also make delicious French toast and bring baskets of mini muffins to your table. The restaurant is cash only, so make sure you have plenty of cash.
Visit a Local Vineyard
If you would like to try local wines, visit Blue Ridge Vineyard. The tasting room overlooks the vineyard and their property has stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. Wine tastings are held daily from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and until 9 p.m. on Fridays, no reservations are necessary. They also offer free tours of the cellar on at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Wine tastings are $5 and include five pours of their wine and a wine glass to take home as a gift. If you are interested in wine and a dinner, they host an ACES Gourmet Catering Dinner every Friday night. They also offer cheese plates, and you can bring your own food to the winery.

Coffee on the patio in the mornings, competitive games of pool, or an evening spent watching the Hallmark Channel and sighing over the romance found there will be fun moments you remember long into the future. Even though your story is obviously far more romantic, it will still be a lot of fun watching other stories being lived out on the state-of-the-art television hanging over the fireplace with all your best friends!

We can’t deny it. We love to shop, and there are plenty of opportunities to indulge in this sweet hobby in the Poconos! Bendixen’s Giftware, found at 2414 Route 940 in Pocono Summit, has been a local tradition for over 40 years and is always offering something new and delightful, including sweet jams made right here in town. If you and your gals are up for a road trip and feel the need for some discount shopping, The Crossings Premium Outlets is just a short drive from your Lake Harmony escape. Located at 1000 Premium Outlets Drive in Tannersville and featuring just about every store from Abercrombie & Fitch to Zumiez, be sure to stop by Chocolate Works for some sweet treats that will help keep up your spirits and your energy levels.
