On The Rocks

On The Rocks sits on the edge of a glacial boulder field in Lake Harmony Estates. The same kind of ancient stone that makes Hickory Run State Park worth the drive is right at the edge of this property. On The Rocks sleeps 20 across seven bedrooms and five bathrooms spread across three floors plus a loft, purpose-built for the multi-generational group that wants a fully-loaded cabin with two master suites, an EV charger, and a game room that keeps the group occupied for the whole trip.

The Heart of the Home

The main level puts the kitchen, dining, and living areas together. The chef's kitchen has two refrigerators, a wine fridge, smooth cooktop, and a breakfast bar with four seats of overflow. The dining table seats 10 for the full group. The living area has a stone indoor/outdoor gas fireplace and Roku Smart TV. Every bedroom has its own TV.

The game room is the third gathering space and it earns its footprint: a regulation pool table, a Dreamcade Vision 40-inch arcade, a Multicade arcade, a Tornado Tournament 3000 foosball table, a dry bar with mini fridge, and two large-screen Smart TVs (65-inch and 55-inch) for game days. Two separate decks add more outdoor seating, with a full-size picnic table and Adirondack chairs on each level.

Outdoor Living

Two levels of decks wrap the back of the house with Adirondack chairs, a Weber gas grill, and a full-size picnic table. The private hot tub is set under the deck. An outdoor fireplace adds a second fire option beyond the fire pit anchored in the yard. The boulder field at the edge of the property is the reason the house has its name; in winter, Big Boulder Ski Resort is under 3 miles away.

• Get on the water: Lake Harmony Watersports and Yeti Watersports are a 3-minute drive (about 0.8 miles); kayaks, paddleboards, pontoon boats, and jet skis by the hour.
• Indoor backup plan: H2OOooh! Indoor Waterpark is a 5-minute drive (1.6 miles); open year-round, the default for rainy days and cold weekends.
• Ski or snowboard: Big Boulder Ski Resort is about 7 minutes away (2.4 miles); close enough for a morning ski day that still leaves the afternoon for the hot tub.
• More mountain options: Jack Frost Ski Resort is about 18 minutes (12 miles); bigger vertical and more terrain for a full ski day.
• The real Boulder Field: Hickory Run State Park is about 25 minutes (11 miles); the Boulder Field National Natural Landmark is the geological cousin of what sits at the edge of this property, scaled up to National Natural Landmark status.
• Easy nature for all ages: Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is about 10 minutes (4 miles); flat creek-side trails accessible for every age and fitness level in a multi-gen group.
