Why We Love It
Great Wolf Chalet is a 3 story, 2,800 sq. ft. home situated on a private and very quiet road within the lovely resort community of Split Rock, Pennsylvania. It is a that has a total of 6 bedrooms (two are master suites), 4 full baths, and a roomy deck.
Description
Great Wolf sleeps 17 and was purpose-built for multi-generational families and outdoor groups looking for a sweet-spot Pocono base. This 6-bedroom, 4-bath wood, stone, and glass cabin sits on a private, quiet road within the Split Rock resort community, centered between the Lake Harmony lakefront dining district and the Big Boulder ski slopes. Three stories, 2,800 square feet, two primary suites, a loft, and a layout designed so two families traveling together each get their own end of the house.
The Heart of the Home
The chef's kitchen runs an open layout with updated appliances, warm wood cabinets, and dark granite counters built for groups cooking together. A dining table seats 10 and the breakfast bar adds three more seats so the entire group can gather for a meal or a game night. The living area is anchored by a stone fireplace with a velvety couch and loveseat for the reading and napping crowd. Smart TVs throughout the home run Roku, so the morning news crowd, the cartoon crowd, and the late-night crowd can each settle in on their own terms. The downstairs game room adds a full-size pool table and another set of couches; close the door and the upstairs crew can hear themselves think.
Outdoor Living
The deck handles dining and gathering with a Weber gas grill ready for the cook-up. The hot tub sits tucked under the deck for privacy. A fire pit anchors the back of the property for s'mores and stargazing. The home backs onto woods, which keeps the noise down at night and the neighbors at a comfortable distance.
