The majority of Split Rock vacation rentals offer at least 5 bedrooms to comfortably sleep 15 or more people in these spacious homes. At least 4 bathrooms are also available in each rental, providing enough room for everyone to get ready for another exciting day in the heart of Pennsylvania. Amazing views of the surrounding woods can be seen from any window but are best experienced on the extended patio deck.

The features of these Split Rock vacation rentals are one thing, but what the surrounding community has to offer is just as amazing. You will be a quick drive away from the Split Rock Resort and its 27-hole golf course. Nearby lakes provided the perfect relaxing day once the weather has warmed up. You will not find any better features elsewhere!

Luxurious Amenities

Split Rock vacation rentals not only provide incredible features, but amenities to match. Most homes will feature standard accommodations to ensure a comfortable experience such as air conditioning, ceiling fans, washer and dryer, fireplaces, grills, patio deck, and more. The larger homes fit in even more amenities that will leave your group speechless with all that there is to do. You can find luxury amenities such as game rooms, mini theatres, large flat screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and more. You may find it hard to leave these incredible vacation rentals with all of the amenities being offered.

The Asa Packer Mansion Museum

One of the perks of vacationing in the Poconos with its layered history is that you get to have a glimpse of that history in its many museums. And of all those museums, the one you should definitely put on your list is the Asa Parker Mansion Museum. Asa Parker, the railroad magnate, was also a philanthropist who founded Lehigh University. The mansion was built in 1861, taking two years and $14,000 to finish. The architecture is unique with its central cupola supporting a red-ribbed tin roof that covers a cast iron frame. Between April and May of every year, the mansion is open for tours during the weekends. It’s also open seven days a week from Memorial Day to the end of October. The tours usually last about an hour depending on the size of the group.

Barley Creek Brewing

How would you like to spend a day out eating, drinking, and having fun? If that’s what you call Tuesday, we bet you haven’t done all of that in a distillery; that’s what Barley Creek Brewing offers its visitors. Starting with the brewery, as one should, you will get free tours and free tasting as well. There’s lots of beer to go around and you get to see how the magic brew is made. The beer here is handcrafted, fresh, and, frankly, really awesome. It tastes better than the beer at the local bar. And if the tour makes you hungry, the lunch and dinner menu will give you something to ponder. Perhaps while you sip another beer thoughtfully. And there’s a lot of fun, too, in the Pint Size Park, where events are held, and in the Brewtique, where you can shop for mugs and gift cards.

Calkins Creamery

If you’re wondering what a family-run dairy farm could possibly offer you on your vacation, you need not wonder anymore. Calkins Creamery has got it all, from cheese to pork to pastured beef and raw honey. But it’s not all food and idyllic pastures. There are events held here that will make you break a sweat. Hed The Curd is an annual race where you get to run for 3.1 miles or 6.2 miles through Highland Farm. The winner gets an award and their name added to the list of past winners. No headphones, texting, strollers, or pets are allowed during the race for safety reasons.
