Skye View

Skye View earns its name about five minutes after you arrive. This three-floor log cabin in Lake Harmony Estates is built into the tree canopy, with a deck that wraps more than half the house and puts the surrounding forest at eye level from every outdoor seat. Skye View sleeps 22 across seven bedrooms and four bathrooms, purpose-built for the group that wants the classic elevated Pocono cabin experience: two separate stone fireplace living rooms, a full game room, an open kitchen that seats everyone at once, and an EV charger on-site.

The Heart of the Home

The ground floor is built around the dining table. The open-concept kitchen runs directly into a dining area anchored by an oversized table that seats 10, positioned in front of its own stone gas fireplace. A breakfast bar adds three more seats for the morning overflow. The kitchen is fully equipped for a group of 22, with enough counter space to actually run a full meal without shifts.

Two separate living rooms each have a stone fireplace and a flat-screen Smart TV with Roku, which means the group can split naturally into two comfortable spaces without anyone getting crowded out. The game room adds a third zone: a newly re-felted regulation pool table, sofa, loveseat, and another Smart TV for gaming or streaming.

Outdoor Living

The deck wraps more than half the exterior of the house, giving the group several distinct zones: Adirondack chairs for morning coffee with the forest at eye level, the Weber gas grill and outdoor dining for cooking outside, and two oversized picnic tables plus a round wood patio table for the nights everyone eats on the deck. The lower deck holds the private hot tub tucked behind a privacy screen. The fire pit anchors the backyard when the group wants to end the night outside.

A Perfect Day Around Lake Harmony

From Skye View, the lake, the slopes, and the Pocono backcountry are all within a short drive:

• Get on the water: Lake Harmony Watersports and Yeti Watersports are a 3-minute drive (about 0.8 miles); kayaks, paddleboards, pontoon boats, and jet skis by the hour. Works for every age group in the house.
• Indoor backup plan: H2OOooh! Indoor Waterpark is a 5-minute drive (1.6 miles); open year-round and the go-to when the weather does not cooperate.
• Ski or snowboard: Big Boulder Ski Resort is about 7 minutes away (2.4 miles); close enough for a morning-only ski day that still leaves the afternoon for the hot tub and fire pit.
• More mountain options: Jack Frost Ski Resort is about 18 minutes (12 miles); bigger vertical and more variety when the group wants a full day on the mountain.
• Easy nature for all ages: Thomas Darling Preserve is about 15 minutes (9 miles); flat accessible trails through wetlands and mixed forest that work for every fitness level in a multi-gen group.
• The Boulder Field: Hickory Run State Park is about 25 minutes (11 miles); the Boulder Field National Natural Landmark is one of the more memorable easy stops in the Poconos and a good half-day excursion.
• Whitewater: Pocono Whitewater Adventures is about 20 minutes (10 miles); half-day rafting on the Lehigh River, well-organized for groups who want a structured outdoor activity.
• Track day: Pocono Raceway is about 15 minutes (6 miles); driving experiences, air shows, and events run year-round beyond race season.
