If grabbing a quick bite from a coffee shop isn’t what you want, try the Cure Cafe. For the most part, it’s traditional cafe fare but it surprises in several departments. And best yet, it’s right in downtown Stroudsburg.

This cafe has full breakfast and lunch menus. All told, the menu is SIX pages long. There’s something for everyone. If you’re still feeling hungry, a solid a la carte menu will keep you full. Add organic vanilla yogurt, a poppyseed muffin or some bacon or chicken sausage.

The breakfast menu is both classic diner and bistro fare. Huevos rancheros, corned beef hash and three types of eggs benedict are all offered.

Everything here can be customized. You can add all kinds of vegetables and meats to your omelettes and eggs to have breakfast just the way you like it. Pancakes and French toast are also super customizable. Add blueberries, bananas, pecans, walnuts, or chocolate chips. You can order your pancakes gluten free or whole wheat for an extra charge.

You won’t see the Cure’s pancake wrap anywhere else. A big pancake wraps around a two-egg omelette with meat and cheese. Or consider the lox platter – a bagel with cream cheese, capers, tomato and lettuce.

The Cure Cafe serves nine different frittatas and omelettes. Try the herb and brie omelette or the Novacali Omelet with lox, avocado and tomato.

The cafe also offers a full selection of espresso drinks.

This cafe is bring your own beer, a perfect way to continue enjoying the local breweries and wineries.
