Handcrafted Beers and Craft Spirits from Barley Creek Brewing

The first item on any agenda when visiting a local brewery is tasting all of the delicious handcrafted
beers. Barley Creek Brewery features all of the mainstays, such as brown ale, Irish red ale, pale ale, India
Pale Ale (and double/triple versions for those who dare), stouts, lagers, saisons, wheats, sours, and
more. No matter what your palette for beer prefers, you can find a delicious adult beverage to your
liking. The tap list is always changing once new beers have finished their short journey from tank to
glass. They also offer a wide selection of guest craft brews on tap.

In 2016, Barley Creek added an onsite small-batch distillery, featuring a 50-gallon handcrafted Hillbilly
still. There, they craft a wide variety of spirits, including whiskey, flavored whiskeys, vodka, flavored
vodkas, rum, flavored rums, gin, and specialty moonshines. Barley Creek spirits are available at the pub,
or to take home in bottles. They even have cans of ready-to-drink cocktails available to go!

The brewery and distillery provides on-site brewery tours for those looking to learn a little more about
how brewing works and even features tastings for anyone 21 years of age or older. You can even book a
private tour just for your group when prior notice is given. (Please note: brew tours are currently
cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Check in advance to find out when brew tours are available
again.) Barley Creek Brewing Company prides themselves in being the original brewpub at the Pocono
Mountains.

In addition to their main restaurant, Barley Creek also has seasonal outdoor dining at its famous Pint
Size Park & Biergarten, which features a huge patio and pavilion, a wiffleball field, plus tons of fun for
the whole family, including fire pits, corn hole, bocce, and more. Barley Creek’s newest outdoor dining
option is it’s S’more Trailside Dining, which offers private dining spaces tucked back in the trees,
compete with picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, fire pits, and plenty of space for a great family-style feast.
Barley Creek has a second location just down the road at the Crossings Retail Outlets. Barley Creek’s
Tasting Room & Pub features a full line-up of PA made craft brews, spirits and wine, an amazing pub and
game room, great food, and a unique Brewtique gift shop where you can buy Barley Creek spirits and
beer to go, plus a fun selection of clothing, mugs, and other “Creekware.” The Tasting Room is open
daily for drinks, lunch and dinner.

Appetite-Pleasing Food Menu

Nothing pairs better with a craft beer than handmade lunch and dinner entrees that bring out the flavor.
The kitchen is open daily for lunch and dinner, and on the weekends for breakfast at The Morning Toast.
You can enjoy classic appetizers such as nachos, wings, pickle fries, pierogis, pretzel dip, and more. But
make sure you don’t fill up just yet, as the rest of the menu is just as great. Entrée items include healthy
salads and wraps, hearty burgers, steaks from the grill, classic pub fare foods, brick-oven pizza, and
various side choices to pair with your item. A kids’ menu is available for the little ones who can enjoy
items like pasta, hot dogs, and chicken fingers, just to name a few. If you are looking for a great family-
friendly time with all of the delicious craft beer, spirits, and food options, make sure you stop by Barley
Creek Brewery. Give them a call with any questions at (570) 629-9399 and visit them at 1774 Sullivan
