The Powerhouse Eatery at 60 Powerhouse Road in White Haven used to be a power company but today serves tasty American comfort food to hungry diners. A little pricier than most of the restaurants around here, you may want to save a visit for a special occasion. When you do visit, try the Shrimp & Crab Francaise; it’s one of our favorites and we eat it as often as we can!
Not all meals have to be fancy, though. Sometimes you just want to eat a good breakfast that someone else has cooked and not pay a lot of money, especially when traveling. The White Haven Family Diner is where we like to go for breakfast, serving simple meals cooked well and offering a friendly ambiance that makes us feel like we are a part of the diner family! Located at 302 Main Street, we’ve yet to have even a so-so meal, and we are eager to spread the word that they serve amazing lunches as well. The burgers are easily twice the size of the bun, which makes the carnivores in our families very happy!
