Daytime Adventures
Waking up with a smile and eagerness to face the adventures of the day will be easy when you stay in one of our Poconos lodges. As the sun rises, the fun continues to increase. Playing miniature golf at the 940 Golf N’ Fun in Pocono Lake is one way to bring the family together; offering bumper cars, arcade games and an 18-hole miniature golf course, there will be no complaints at spending more than a few hours here.
The warmer weather of summer may have you turning to the water for entertainment that will keep you cool, and Lake Harmony Cruises offers the perfect way to enjoy the scenery while enjoying the cool lake breezes. For those who prefer to stay on land, viewing the beauty of the area while atop a gentle steed may be the highlight of your getaway. Deer Path Stable, located a short 20-minute drive away in New Haven, offers trail rides year-round. Costing $45 per ride per person if you pay cash or $50 if you don’t and also offering pony rides for the youngest members of your traveling party (children under 9 can’t participate in trail rides), a horseback ride is one of our favorite ways to explore the Poconos.
Visitors with a competitive side will fall in love with Skirmish Paintball, found in Albrightsville approximately 7 minutes away from your Pocono Mountain Rentals family escape. Open year-round and featuring special events throughout the year, the basic paintball package costs only $29.99 (if reserved in advance) and includes entrance to the Skirmish fields, paint gun rentals, goggle/facemask rental, unlimited N2 air refills, and all-day play. When the Dinner Bell Rings
All these adventures are sure to make you hungry and the Poconos offers a plethora of places to dine. Breakfast at Compton’s Pancake House in Stroudsburg and lunch at Moyer’s Country Kitchen in Pocono Lake are both great choices. The kitchens in our rentals are fully equipped, however, so if you want to save a few dollars, pick up whatever you need from the Lake Harmony Market and create a memorable meal at home. The Poconos Farmers’ Market in Lake Harmony is open on Saturdays and offers farm-fresh produce, local eggs, and a selection of baked goods sure to please everyone in your family.
