Lake Front Livin' sleeps 26 across 8 bedrooms and 5,000 square feet of new construction, purpose-built for multi-generational groups in Lake Harmony Estates. The distinguishing feature is out the back door: a private sandy beach on Lake Harmony, a dock, and complimentary kayaks and canoes. Three floors connected by an elevator, with the lake as the literal backyard.

The Heart of the Home

The layout runs inverted from most homes by design. The game room anchors the first floor, steps from the lake entrance: shuffleboard table, pool table, foosball, Arcade Legends 3, a full game room bar, and two sofas around a Smart TV. The beach crowd and the games crowd can each have their space without anyone crossing paths.

The third floor is where the group eats and gathers. The chef's kitchen, dining area, and living room run open along the lake-facing wall, with an indoor-outdoor stone fireplace and a wraparound deck through the sliders. Two refrigerators, two ovens, two dishwashers, and granite counters with bar stool seating keep the kitchen functional for a group of 26.

Outdoor Living and the Lake

The outdoor living runs from the top floor to the waterline. Morning coffee happens on the third-floor wraparound deck with Lake Harmony in full view, and the Weber gas grill is up there for dinner. A level down, the covered patio leads to the hot tub. Four more steps and you're on the private sandy beach: dock, complimentary kayaks and canoes, and a firepit right at the shoreline for the end of the day. In winter, Big Boulder Ski Resort is a 7-minute drive.

• On the water from home: The private dock and complimentary kayaks and canoes are steps from the back door; Lake Harmony is immediately available for paddling, fishing, or swimming off the beach without getting in a car.
• More on the lake: Lake Harmony Village is a 2-minute drive (0.5 miles); additional watercraft rentals, on-lake dining, and several restaurants within walking distance.
• Indoor backup plan: H2OOooh! Indoor Waterpark is a 5-minute drive (1.3 miles); year-round water slides for when the weather doesn't cooperate.
• Golf: Split Rock Golf Club is 5 minutes (1.8 miles); 18 holes with Sunset Green Restaurant on-site for drinks or dinner after the round.
• Ski or snowboard: Big Boulder Ski Resort is a 7-minute drive (2.2 miles); close enough for a half-day on the slopes before coming back to the hot tub.
• Track day: Pocono Raceway is 15 minutes (5.6 miles); stock car experiences and events for the group that wants more speed.
• Nature for all ages: Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is about 16 minutes (6.4 miles); walking trails that work for grandparents and small kids without requiring serious gear.
• Whitewater: Pocono Whitewater Adventures is 20 minutes (10.2 miles); guided rafting on the Lehigh River, seasonal.
• The Boulder Field: Hickory Run State Park is 25 minutes (10.9 miles); a boulder-covered clearing that is a National Natural Landmark and worth the drive.
• More vertical: Jack Frost Ski Resort is an 18-minute drive (11.8 miles); larger mountain with longer runs for skiers who want a bigger day.
