Bobcat is built for the kind of trip where you want to leave the car parked for the weekend. This 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom home in Lake Harmony sleeps 20 guests across three floors plus a loft, and it sits within walking distance of the lake, a sit-down dinner spot, and a breakfast cafe. That is a rare setup in the Poconos, where most homes require a drive for everything.

The Heart of the Home

Built of stone and wood, the open main level brings the kitchen, dining, and living areas together under soaring ceilings with exposed wood beams. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out into the woods. The kitchen is fully equipped with custom cabinets, granite countertops, and a center island, with a breakfast bar seating three. The dining table seats 10, so the full group has space to sit down together. The main living area is anchored by a stone fireplace with plush seating arranged around a large Roku Smart TV. Every bedroom has its own TV.

A second living area downstairs doubles as the game room, with its own gas fireplace, a full-size pool table, and a poker table tucked behind French doors. Close them and the late-night crowd can stay loud without waking anyone upstairs.

Outdoor Living

The upper deck holds the Weber gas grill and patio seating with a forest view. Steps below, the hot tub sits tucked under the deck for privacy. The fire pit anchors the back of the property, and a wooden loveseat for two is set into the trees for a quiet moment away from the group. Lake Harmony beach access is an 8-minute walk (0.4 miles); Nick's Lake House and Terra Cottage Cafe are the same distance on foot for dinners and morning coffee without moving the car.

• Walk to the lake: Lake Harmony beach access is 0.4 miles away, about an 8-minute walk. Yeti Watersports (0.5 miles) rents pontoons, jet skis, and kayaks for a day on the private glacial lake.
• Indoor backup plan: H2OOooh! Indoor Waterpark at Split Rock is a 2-minute drive (1.0 mile); 53,000 sq ft open year-round, the go-to for rainy days and winter weekends.
• Ski or snowboard: Big Boulder Mountain is a 3-minute drive (1.3 miles); skiing, snowboarding, and a high-capacity snow tubing park close enough for a morning run that still leaves afternoon time at the house.
• Jack Frost: Jack Frost Ski Resort is a 12-minute drive (5.6 miles); bigger vertical and a top-down lodge layout that keeps non-skiers connected to the group.
• Easy nature for all ages: Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is 8 minutes (3.9 miles); family-friendly creek-side trails along Tobyhanna Creek that work for every fitness level.
