Step through the front door of Arrowhead Lodge and the first thing you notice is the trees. A wall of glass runs the full height of the main living area, pulling the surrounding wooded lot inside and giving a 2,900-square-foot A-frame chalet the feel of something much bigger. Arrowhead sleeps 16 across six bedrooms and three bathrooms in Lake Harmony Estates, a stone-and-cedar property purpose-built for the group that wants the classic Pocono cabin experience with the amenities to back it up.

The Heart of the Home

The main level is open and social: vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and the kitchen running open into the living area so no one disappears from the group when it is time to cook. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a group of 16 needs, plus two coffee makers for the morning rush. Downstairs, the game room keeps people entertained: a full-size pool table, a Multicade arcade loaded with 60 free-play games, and a flat-screen Smart TV with Roku. The two levels work well together; the main floor stays calm while the game room handles the energy.

Outdoor Living

The deck wraps the back of the house, overlooking a private wooded backyard and serving as the natural gathering point from late spring through fall. The Weber gas grill is fueled and ready. The 6-to-8 person hot tub sits tucked beneath the deck for privacy. Back in the trees, a custom iron fire pit with bench seating is where the night ends for the group that stays up late. Big Boulder Ski Resort is less than a mile away; in winter, the lit slopes are visible from the property after dark.

A Perfect Day Around Lake Harmony

From Arrowhead, the lake, the slopes, and the Pocono backcountry are all within minutes:

• Get on the water: Lake Harmony Watersports is a 2-minute drive (0.5 miles); pontoon boats for the full group, kayaks, paddleboards, and wakeboards by the hour. The right call for multi-gen groups where everyone wants something different.
• Ski or snow tube: Big Boulder Ski Resort is under a mile away (3-minute drive); close enough for a half-day on the slopes that still leaves the afternoon for the hot tub. Zero-skill snow tubing works for every age in the group.
• Indoor backup plan: H2OOooh! Indoor Waterpark is a 4-minute drive (1.2 miles); open year-round and the obvious call when the weather turns.
• Easy nature for all ages: Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is a 10-minute drive (4 miles); flat walking trails along Tobyhanna Creek, accessible for every fitness level and age range in a multi-gen group.
• The Boulder Field: Hickory Run State Park is about 20 minutes (10 miles); the Boulder Field National Natural Landmark is one of the more memorable easy-to-reach natural features in the Poconos, good for scrambling kids and interesting enough for adults.
• More snow options: Jack Frost Ski Resort is about 18 minutes (11 miles); bigger vertical and more variety for the skiers who want a full day on a proper mountain.
• A day trip worth taking: Jim Thorpe is about 25 minutes (15 miles); the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway runs vintage trains through the gorge and works for grandparents and toddlers equally well.
• Track day: Pocono Raceway is a 12-minute drive (6 miles); driving experiences, air shows, and festivals run year-round beyond race season.
