From the outside, Piggy’s restaurant looks like what it is: a sweet diner that serves some of the best country food in the county! Built of wood-framed construction and featuring a covered porch with a couple of chairs for sitting while you wait, the pink pigs that decorate the lawn leading up to the door let you know you have arrived. Inside, the simple décor lets the food be the star of the show; wood chairs and tables and a vaulted ceiling paneled in wood creates an open and airy space that welcomes you in. Friendly waitstaff greet guests with warm smiles that are genuine and welcoming as well, creating an atmosphere that is the exact opposite of restaurants in the bigger cities of the world!
The Menu at Piggy’s
We’ve yet to have a bad meal, or even an indifferent one at Piggy’s, but as much as we love their egg and meat dishes, it’s the pancakes that have stolen our hearts. Light, fluffy, and filled with goodies both healthy and sweet, we sometimes dream about them at night! They make the pancakes in small batches multiple times throughout the day, so each plateful is guaranteed to be fresh and delicious! Also offering homemade Belgium waffles, their Belgium Blueberry Waffles make us do a happy dance in our seats, but the plain ones are just as awesome! Piggy’s lunches are hearty and filling. From juicy burgers to cold sandwiches and everything in between, each bite is better than the last! And for those trying to stay healthy, a large wrap and salad menu allows the diner to eat well without worrying about the extra calories.
