Divided between the Jack Frost Ski Area and Big Boulder Ski Mountain, each park offers something unique and fun. From A Frame Shacks to Quarter Pipe with Mailbox to Wall Rides, all experience levels are guaranteed to have a blast. The summit of Big Boulder reaches nearly 2200 feet high and the 15 trails are easily accessed by 10 different lifts. The sharpest vertical drop is a breath taking 475 feet and 50% of its terrain is dedicated to park features. Also offering snowtubing areas that feature cable tows and conveyor carpets for an easier trip to the top, your entire family will more than get their money’s worth for a day on the hill!
For Poconos skiing, Big Boulder Mountain offers discounts for military personnel, both active and retired. Online tickets are available with prices beginning at $36.99. If you have ever purchased ski tickets at any of the more well-known ski resorts, we are sure you will immediately realize what a deal these tickets are, even if they do cost more if you wait to purchase your pass on the day you are skiing.
Hunger Pains Gnawing Away at Your Fun?
You won’t have to leave the mountain to enjoy a meal that will warm your soul as it sticks to your ribs! Restaurants and snack bars are designed to sate every hunger. The Cantina features talented burrito baristas, the Lodge Cafeteria offers typical cafeteria food that includes burgers and chili, and Big Boulder’s T Bar and Big Boulder Park Lodge & Grill are where you will want to go for a little après ski action. The T Bar offers nightly specials Monday through Thursday starting at 4 PM, allowing guests to save even more! And finally, even tubers get the chance to fill the empty spaces in their stomachs with a visit to the Tubing Snack Bar!
