Welcome to the Squirrel's Nut Chalet. Located in the private community of Towemensing Trails, this 5 bedroom home will accommodate multiple families and large groups. Enjoy the beautiful foliage and nature views as you sit on the large deck or relax in the soothing hot tub.

In summer months enjoy swimming in the community pool or lake. Only a short block to the warm sandy beach. Rent paddle boats, go fishing, play in the game room, or venture to nearby amenities. The home comes with 8 renter wristbands (no option to purchase addtional bands) for the use of these amenities.  In the winter months enjoy the short drive to Big Boulder and Jack Frost for fun in the snow! Spring and Fall offer beautiful nature foliage in the spectacular Pennsylvania tradition.

Whatever season you prefer, The Squirrel's Nut Chalet will be the perfect retreat for you. The home is beautifully decorated and fully appointed. Enter the first level of the house into the ski mud room, from here dive into the game room, equipped with 32" Flat Panel TV, DVD, Stereo, shuffle board, foosball, Xbox with dance pad, two controllers, and games, game table, convertible twin, 1\2 bath, bedroom with two sets twin bunks, laundry room with full washer and dryer.

The middle level houses the great room with 46" plasma flat screen TV, DVD, two story stone gas fire place, large front deck, dining area with huge table, fully appointed kitchen with 4 person bar seating, additional table and chairs for gaming or large family groups, all new appliances, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, microwave, USB cable for high speed internet access, rear deck with table and chairs, gas grill, two large bedrooms (3 twins, 1 queen), full bath. Access the 6-8 person hot tub via the back deck steps.

The third level houses two large vaulted master bedrooms (left: Queen bed and twin pull out, right: Queen bed), 12' x 8' loft area with a full size futon sleeper. Full bath.

Your hot tub is professionally serviced and sanitized within 24hrs prior to your check-in.  If you need your hot tub cleaned anytime during your stay,  professional hot tub cleaning is available for $65.00  Please just call our main number at 215-489-3206 and leave a message on the emergency voice mail prompt. Please do not forget to inspect your hot tub upon your arrival.  If you are unsatisfied with the conditon of the hot tub (up until 7pm on the day of your check-in) you can call our office and we will gladly stop by and re-clean and balance the tub at no charge.  Please schedule your arrival times accordingly.  By following the hot tub rules listed in your tenant packet, you will greatly extend the time the hot tub water will remain clean.  

***Summer 2012 Community Pool and Lake/Beach Schedule***

The pool will open June 24, 2012 thru Labor Day.  Beach will open Memorial Day for weekends only and will open full time June 24, 2012 thru Labor Day.

***Trash Disposal Area Schedule***

Trash Disposal Area near the main office (TeePee) of Towamensing Trails is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm. You must have your vehicle passes in order to dispose of your trash at the dumpster.  If your checkout is on a Tuesday or Thursday, please dispose of your trash the day before your checkout. You may leave up to two bags of trash at the home ONLY if your check out is on a Tuesday or Thursday.  If you attempt to dump your trash at the dumpster without a vehicle pass or when they are closed, a $310.00 fine may be issued.  Extra fees will be charged if any trash is left at the home upon your checkout.
