Is the kitchen fully stocked?
The kitchen is stocked with basic kitchen supplies, ie: utensils, flatware, glasses, pots and pans. If you have a specialty cooking item you
should bring it.

What type of wireless internet is used in the homes?

Metrocast high speed internet.  Speeds to vary from home to home.

Will I need a special adapter for my laptop to use the wireless internet?

All homes that have internet listed have open networks which do not require a password

Which homes have air conditioning?

The following are the only homes that DO NOT have air conditioning:

Elk House & Boulder View.

How do I access the aerobed(s) offered in the bedroom layout?

If the home you are staying in offers aerobeds, then they will located locked in a 2nd or 3rd floor closet. The closet will be labeled and there will be a listed phone # to call to gain access to the locked closet. 

Is there an additional fee to use the aerobed(s)?

We do not charge for the use of the aerobeds.  The tenenat is responsible for the breakdown of the aerobed and to neatly place the unit back in the closet and relock.

How many beach passes/wristbands does each house have?

All of the homes within Lake Harmony Estates come with 10 renter badges.  If any renter has more than 10 persons using the beach at one time, extra day beach passes can be purchased at the beach.  The fee is approx $3 per person.  If you have to pay out any of these fees, you can submit a request to Pocono View Properties for the reimbursement of this fee. 

All of the homes within Towamensing Trails come with 8 renter wrist bands which are required for the use of the beach and outdoor pool.  Towamensing Trails does not currently allow the purchase of additional renter badges.

What are the hours to the Lake Harmony Beach?

The Beach Area will be open on weekends only, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (weather permitting) after Memorial Day weekend until the children get out of school. Then, it will be open daily until Labor Day. Exact days and times will be posted on the bulletin board at the Beach. Please check there for all notices.

What are the hours to Towamensing Trails beach and pool?

The pool and beach are open weekends only, 11am to 6pm (weather permitting) starting Memorial Day weekend until the 3rd full weekend in June.  Then, it will be open daily until Labor Day.

Do children under a certain age need a beach pass/wristband?

All persons, reguardless of age, are required to have a beach pass

How long do I have to cancel a booking?

You may cancel a booking up to 60 days prior to your rental.  We do charge a $100 cancellation fee for all cancelled reservation.  If you are reserving a home and you are within 60 days or less from your check-in date, you have 7 days to cancel your reservation from the time you receive our lease. If the lease is not signed and returned to us within 7 days we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, however, we will notify you via email and/or phone prior to this occurring.  If you have submitted your signed lease, deposit money and are within 60 days of your check-in and need to cancel, you must submit this in writing via email or letter.  The home will go available on our web site with the hope that we are able to re-book the home.  If the home re-books for the original rental rate, you will be refunded all of your money, less a $100 cancellation fee. If the home re-books at a rental rate less than the original amount, then the difference between the rates will also beheld in addition to the $100 cancellation fee. The closer to the check-in date a reservation cancels the more likely the rate may have to be reduced in order to re-book the home. If Pocono View Properties is unable to re-book the home, then the terms of the lease agreement will remain in effect and the full amount of the rental will be either due or, if already received, will not be refunded.   

Are there parks/playgrounds for younger children?

Is there a map of the area on your site so I can see how close the homes are to each other?

We do not currently have a map of the homes proximity to each other.  Please the office for information.

Is there a place for indoor sports (basketball, racquetball, etc.)?

Split Rock Resort is located within 1 mile of our Lake Harmony homes.  They offer many “pay for service” activities which are located on there website.  Please contact them directly for details and fees. I have a link to them listed on the Area Attractions section of the web site.

How long do I have to pay the balance of my rental fees?

All balances are due 60 days prior to your check-in.  If you have booked your home with less than 60 days prior to check-in, then your balance is due with 7 days of making your reservation.  Please call us if you need to request an extension of the payment terms. We will try to work with all reasonable requests. 

Will my deposit refund be a check or a credit on my credit card?

All deposit refunds will be in the form of a check made payable to the person who’s name is on the lease and mailed to the address of the tenant as it is listed on the lease. We will not credit any credit cards for the refund of a security/damage deposit.

Can I have my deposit held towards a new rental instead of being refunded?

Pennsylvania law requires that all security deposits are refunded to the renter within 30 days of the renters check-out. Pocono View properties will usually refund all security deposits within two weeks.  If there is found to be damage, excessive cleaning or fines on the property rented, Pocono View Properties will contact the renter immediately, usually with 24-48 hours after their checkout, advising the renter that the security deposit will be held pending the outcome of the costs of the damage, extra cleaning or fines.  We will also send you a letter stating the same.  

What bed linens do we need?
We supply pillows, comforters and a mattress pad. You will need pillow cases and sheets. The bed sizes are listed on each of the homes' web pages. You will also need to bring bath towels and a bath mat.  We do offer linens and towels for an additional fee. 

Do I need to bring toilet paper?
There are usually a few rolls of toilet paper in the house, but we highly recommend you bring your own.

Are the homes located near the lake?
Yes. Each home's proximity to the lake is listed on its individual web page.

How far a drive are places from the houses in Lake Harmony?
Lake Harmony Beach: 2 minutes
Nick's Lakehouse & Shenanigans Restaurant: 3 minutes
Big Boulder Ski mountain: 2 minutes
Split Rock Resort: 2 minutes
Jack Frost Resort: 7 minutes
Pocono Raceway: 7 minutes
Camelback Resort: 25 minutes

Is firewood suppied to the homes with real wood fireplaces?
No, but there are many local stores that sell bundles of firewood.

Can I use a motorboat or jet ski in Lake Harmony?
Yes. You must register your watercraft first by downloading this form. This must be completed and paid for at least two weeks prior to your rental in order to get a registration sticker from the Lake Harmony Group who manage the lake.
